More pictures

Nothing new or exciting to report, just some more pictures of our cute little guy. He's still a bit camera shy. Every time he's really smiley I try to grab the camera (well, my iPhone), but I'm either too late or he's too entranced by the phone to keep up the big smiles.

Smiling at Daddy when I didn't know the camera was there...
...then I noticed Mommy with the camera. Not smiling, but still cute!

Knute decided to spend some time on the blanket with Steve on his 2nd
monthiversary.

He moved when Steve started flailing his arms a bit too close.

Grandma and Grandpa B are making sure I'm indoctrinated early...

Cousin Lily

This picture is a couple of weeks old, but I thought it was cute so I'm stealing it from Krista's blog!

I'm pretty sure that Steven is crying, but it's great of Lily and me! You can see Krista's blog post about their visit here. Lily kept asking if she could touch various parts of Steven's body, and unless he was fussy we pretty much said yes to everything. It was very respectful of her to ask first!

8 weeks!

Steve had his 2 month appointment with the pediatrician today. He's now 11# 15 oz and 24" long. That's the 50th percentile in weight and the 75th in length. Maybe he'll take after Great Grandpa B! The 24" certainly explains why his 3-month-size footie sleepers are starting to seem a bit short. Anyway, he's doing great and apparently his preference for looking to his left may portend future left-handedness. Go figure.

He also got 4 vaccines today (well, 8 vaccines but one is a 5-in-1)--one oral and 3 shots. He was OK when we first got home but then I think he got sore because he started getting very fussy when touched on the thighs and hips and when he moved to suddenly or forcefully. After some infant Tylenol he's out like a light. He hasn't slept this well since he was a few days old!

Don't adjust your screen settings--he really is this pale. Thanks for the Norwegian genes, Mom and Dad!
